Dwarf Waterlilies

A miniature waterlily can be a delightful accent for your watergarden, whether you have a spectacular multiple lily display, or a single, beautiful flower. IHL Nymphaea 'Hermine'

A small lily suited to small ponds and tub gardens. The flowers are a creamy white. It produces single, tulip-shaped white blooms that are 3 to 4 inches wide. The heart shaped leaves are up to 6 inches across and spreads to 2 to 3 feet across. Plant in full sun. Cold hardy to about 15 degrees F.

This is a beautiful, free blooming, purple and white lily that will grace any pond. The petals are a rich violet on the ends and change to white at their bases. It's viviparous, new plants develop in the center of the leaves. A well fed plant will produces numerous offspring in a season. IHL Nymphaea 'Paul Hariot'

The blossoms have orange inner petals, the color deepening with age, the outer petals are apricot changing to a deep pinkish orange by the third day. This is an ideal choice for a small watergarden or tub garden. Can be used in larger ponds effectively as a mass planting. USDA ZONES 4-9.

ITL Nymphaea minuta

This rare offering is one of the smallest of the water lilies. It comes from Madagascar, and is the most recently named species of Nymphaea. It produces small leaves, each with a red spot in the middle, and small pink/white flowers. It will grow and bloom in an aquarium or a pond, is shade tolerant, but will live in partial sun, and it reseeds freely. Can be grown in small barrel ponds on warm patios, or in well lit terrariums. USDA ZONES 8-11

One of the darkest red waterlilies on the market, with hints of black. Leaves start maroon and mature to bright green. Flowers are 5-6 inches across. Leaves are 8-9 inches across, with a plant spread of 3-6 feet. Prefers full sun. USDA ZONES 4-11.
